Bathroom cleaning is probably the most frequent activities you’ll have to do because throughout the house, all of our bathroom fixture is probably the set of equipments that is most abused by filth and bacteria. Back in the day, bathroom cleaning is an agonizingly redundant and tiring activity, not to mention the danger of inhaling the chemicals used in it. Fortunately however, the progress in technology and science now allows us to do bathroom cleaning with a little bit of ease. Mind you, the classic hazard of slipping and chemical fumes while cleaning all of the bathroom fixture should still be your main concerns.

Shower and Bathtub
If you’re the kind that loves spend a long time in the shower, then you shouldn’t be surprised when finding out the time you need to do your bathroom cleaning routine. Each bathroom fixture will took the most of your time because you will be fighting with the mold and fungus that resulted from hair products, body oil, bath oil, and soap scum.

Starting with bathtub area, spray all-purpose bathroom cleaners generously and let it stand to dissolve the oils and soap scum, which will help you remove them later without so much effort. You can clean other part while you wait.

The shower floors for instance. You can clean the bathtub rings or deposits pretty easily with abrasive scrubbing pads. Use tile brushes to reach cracks and corners while protecting your hands from touching the tub. To remove stains off the faucet and other fixtures of the bathtub, you can use the cleaning toothbrush.

Now rinse and clean all of the cleaners off the showers and bathtub. If you have detachable showerhead or a rubber showerhead you usually used to bathe your pets, you can do it quite quickly. If you don’t have both, you can always buy a rubber showerhead if you want, it’s quite cheap.

As a special additional features in your bathroom, this bathroom fixture also needed a set special treatment. Use non-abrasive scrubbing pads and cleaners like pine oil and baking soda, or an all purpose bathroom cleaners, to avoid scraping or dulling the glassy materials. To remove cloudiness in the glass door, you can use full-strength white vinegar or commercial lime and scale remover.

Ah, the unsung hero and the most modest bathroom fixture ever invented. The place where we spit the excessive toothpaste in our mouth, decorated by the over spray of your wife, girlfriend, or even your own hair treatment products. The place that withstands the bacterial invasion which comes with relentless pace. Therefore the least we can do for it is put its shiny good looks back to let it know that we appreciate the effort it makes.

To remove the light soil and film, you can use all purpose bathroom cleaners. As for the more nasty and already hardened stains, you can use the abrasive or soft scrub cleaners without having to worry about a thing because on ceramic surface, they will wash off quite easily. Cleaner products with bleach can also help you remove toothpaste stains and sanitize the surface. Remember to use green homemade cleaners because aside from being inexpensive, it will prevent you from a chemical fumes accident.

Clean the edge with spray glass cleaners or all-purpose bathroom cleaners, then apply the finishing touch by wiping it with fresh cleaning cloth.

Toilet
This is the most important bathroom fixture and at the same time, the least piece of equipment we have interest in cleaning. If you don’t clean it however, where do you want to go when the sudden urge in your belly to deposit excrement arrives?

To save yourself from inhaling the bad odor from the toilet bowl, put the liquid toilet bowl cleaner into it and let it stand for awhile to make sure all the germs and bacteria are well butchered. If you think you’ve waited long enough, clean the bowl using a toilet brush with bristling bristles. For your information, toilet brush with flattened or mashed bristles won’t do you any good and won’t clean the upper and under part of the rim thoroughly, so don’t hesitate to change it with a new one.

In case you discover a stubborn ring shaped-stain in your toilet bowl, use the pumice stone that is porous and crumbles easily, and rub it directly to the stain.

As the finishing blow, use disinfectant spray cleaner or all-purpose bathroom cleaners to the toilet rim, seat and lid, bowl exterior, and the water tank. Mind the wet exposure level you need by checking the label for the needed standing time. Wipe it clean using fresh cleaning cloth or towel and your done with your bathroom cleaning routine.
