Could you give an answer about I am remodeling my home and have multiple projects in mind, but what order should they be done?. My projects are: install energy efficient windows, remodel the kitchen and two bathrooms, and replace carpets with all wood flooring. Obviously you wouldn’t want to do the floors first but other than that. What should be done first? second? etc?
I’ll try to answer your question…
i would do windows first replacements are very easy and depending on your budget i would do one bathroom then kitchen then the other bathroom then floors and carpets….just my opinion…good luck

Windows while the weather is good then bathroom 1 then bathroom 2 then kitchen and last is floors.
I agree with doing the windows first…you don’t want to have to mess with works you’ve already done in the baths and kitchen in order to fit windows.
I would do one bathroom, then the kitchen, then the other bathroom, then the floors and carpets. You may want to buy the new fixtures all at once if you have a place to store them and can get a discount for buying a lot (ask if they give a contractor’s discount for buying multiple items…I re-did a kitchen once and got a contractor’s discount for buying more than 3 appliances at one time, and it was substantial enough to pay for one of the appliances!)
When you are considering remodeling for your home, you should consider polished concrete flooring, they are low on cost, high on performance and almost no maintenance. You can opt any color / design that you want. here are some samples http://www.xtremepolishingsystems.com/gallery.htm
i think u shud do the flors first because if u do the ktchen and bathroom first than the floors then it will be all messy in the ktchen and bathroom but if u do florrs then everything else it will inqure less work because u wont have to clean the mess
